Well, Halloween is just a few days away. This year, I carved my first pumpkin ever. Yes, my first. I never did things like this as a child...so this was an exciting experience for me.

My neighbor's kids were going to carve their pumpkins and I had several out for decorations...so I asked if I could join them. I was shown how to cut the top, scoop out all the yucky stuff, and draw my pattern. The funny thing is that you have to use this little poker tool to make the actual pattern, then you go back and carve it by playing "connect the dots" with your knife.

The pumpkin came out nice! I came up with the face myself and Eric added that I should have teeth...so I put goofy teeth on it too.

The best part of the entire thing was cooking the pumpkin seeds. A few years ago I tried roasting pumkin seeds and I ended up burning them. This year, they came out perfect. I made sugar, cinnamon, and spiced one. They were very sweet and very crispy!

What a perfect halloween this will be! I have my perfect jack-o-lantern and my perfect seeds...now I just need perfect trick-or-treaters! I am really beginning to love it here in Michigan. The weather is beautiful and the leaves are changing to their fall colors. I have never experienced such wonderful visual stimulation!

Purple Pregnant Person

Well, I have been knocked up for 6 months now! I am over the hump and have 3 more months to go. let me just say that I am predicting this baby to be sooooo chilled out. I haven't had any complication during my pregnancy. I am very blessed that I didn't have to experience any morning sickness or violent mood swings.

I have had some minor setbacks...I went through a day of intense growing pains a few weeks ago, but it wasn't really too bad, just uncomfortable. I went through a couple of days of emotional downfalls last week. I think that was just a phase because I was really missing my friends back home (miss you guys so much!) and I was feeling a little insecure about my looks.

Other than that...the baby is so calm. She moves around but not violently...so I am predicting a calm and happy baby.

The doctor told me that she should be here around January 28th!!! Whoo hoo!

Double A!

Okay ladies, now don't go rushing on my blog and leaving a bunch of comments asking how you can get in touch with this fine gentleman! Unfortunatley, I have to keep his privacy....but leave a picture and if you're cute enough I will set you up...hee hee.

This is my awesome friend Aaron. We call him "double A" because his last name starts with an A too. He is such a great person and is rock-solid buddies with God. We've been good friends for a while and I just thought I would blog about him because I owe him a big apology...my last blog stated that Vivian was the only person who ever looks at my blog...but AA you are the only other person that looks at my blog!

And if this isn't true...then you two are the only ones who care to leave me a dang comment!

AA...I miss you lots!!!!
